Photo Finale recently updated the functionality of Print 50.

  • [FIXED] – The search functionality in Print 50 has been fixed when entering a search term other than an order number.

Release Notes (9.9.0.1) – 05/13/2024

  • [NEW] – Introduced a new “Active” filter option in Print 50, which displays all orders that haven’t been marked as Complete. [20015]
  • [NEW] – Added configuration of a shipping method’s delivery class (budget, standard, expedited, or express) to Lab 50 > Store Management > Shipping and Handling Charges. The delivery class determines is provided to suppliers to help map a dealer’s shipping methods to the supplier’s available carriers and service levels.
  • [NEW] – A new macro for PrintServer print drivers to use an order item’s product attribute information as part of a filename (macro: “%PERSONALIZATION%”).
  • [NEW] – The customer’s email address displayed on Print 50’s Order Details screen is now a hyperlink to email the customer. [20615]
  • [NEW] – Added a new available invoice macro for a product’s UPC Code (!DETAIL_UPC!). [19714]
  • [NEW] – The Print 50 installer/updater will now automatically install any prerequisites on the target system on demand.

  • [UPDATED] – Inhibits Print 50’s order search until 8 digits have been entered, to prevent the app from slowing to a crawl as network searches for partial matches are made. [19936]

  • [UPDATED] – By popular demand, the Order Details UI and printed invoices will no longer add a “G” / “M” surface descriptor suffix to products. This option can be re-enabled if desired, please reach out to support for assistance. [15879]

  • [UPDATED] – The DNP Turbine print driver now receives the PF Order ID as the External Order ID. [20248]

  • [UPDATED] – Updated the DNP Turbine print driver to set the pickup and mail addresses based on various configuration options. [20250]
  • [FIXED] – Incorrect on-demand cropping for some order items in certain situations.
  • [FIXED] – Print 50 can now successfully print a standard invoice without further configuration required.
  • [FIXED] – Print 50 handling of order asset files when an invoice printer is not specified, by automatically using the default printer. [19972]
  • [FIXED] – Resolved possible issues uploading new branding images in Lab 50 > Store Management > Brand Settings and Logos.
  • [FIXED] – When adding white borders to photos for print drivers without native support, now draws a 1 pixel extra border inside of the photo to prevent any stray grey lines.
  • [FIXED] – The installer will now register the PDF library DLL with Windows automatically during installation.

  • [FIXED] – Removed two outdated sections from Lab 50’s Store Management screen: APM Management and Reports.
